First Wash in 34 Years. 56 Miles! Barn Find Buick Grand National
This is a 1987 Buick Grand National that has 56 original miles found in Columbus Ohio and trailered back to NYC. We are pulling it out of the garage and giving it its first wash in 34 years! The Buick Grand National was faster than the Chevy Corvette in 1987 and was called "Darth Vaders Car" in various automotive publications. After we remove it from the Barn, we trailered it up to the AMMO Studio for a full restoration detail, foam wash, black paint polish with Rupes buffer, AMMO Reflex Pro, and a reveal to the owner at the very end of the episode. Be sure to watch the last clip of him starting the car for the very first time. Enjoy this car Barn Find episode. -Larry

You really need your own tv channel on motortrend network
ROlabel format is better, no need to repeat same mistake as motortrend
@oldskool Oh yeah it's is! People are tired of paying for it!!!
Nah bruh im pretty sure he makes way more money on yt and plus it’s already like a show lol
@Matthew Hensley bruh, turn off Fox News
Honestly, Motortrend is saturated with so much junk I pay for but don't watch. I'd have this cued up every week.
56 miles but the trip has 86 miles? I smell bullshit!
How much a job like this costs?
Is this car for sale
I bought 1 at 17. In Oakland CA. Had it 6 Months the Traded it for a 69 XR7 Cougar Convertible. Still have the Cougar.
I love these GNs more than ever
you're simply the best
What's the story? Well, 34 years ago this car was stolen. It was parked/hid in this garage until the dude finally felt it would be safe to reveal it.
In all my life I’ve never seen a drive way that long and narrow, I know my wife would’ve probably hit the wall every time going forward and backwards...smh🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️😂 ps...9 hate he had to sell it, some things you just don’t part with....I’m sorry, unless you’re really down on your luck
His zipper on the jacket makes me Cringe.....
i have a question. I wanna restore a BMW e38 which been sitting for at least 7 years under some trees. Do you think i can restore the paint with common compound, polish and wax? Because i wanna build this one up from the crankshaft up to the whipers and surely want it to look like its brand new. If i wanna guess this car should have only like 30kmiles which is nothing for a car like that and its too sad to look on this car just sitting around.
That is an awesome car.
She's a beauty. Guy I worked with had one, now I know why he bought it . Met a guy years later who said he bought his at an FBI auction.
What's that worth I wonder ?
fast domestic road car in america in 87
When he said “unfortunately, The way things are, I don’t have the garage space. I have to sell it,” that hit my soul. This was my first car.
What is it worth? I know priceless. But how much?
I'll never not love the foam gun.
So what ever happened to the car ? Did it sell and if so how much?
Man that's a beautiful ride
That Macan thoooo
i don't know why Vin Diesel left the car there, we need to do something guys...
Period correct 80s synthwave muzak ftw!!
I always wanted to know who does this? Buy a car and park it only to let it rot. Every seal and gasket bone dry.
Hey Ammo, See if you can find a classic Cadillac and restore it
Shoulda made an offer as soon as selling fell out his mouth
Can't believe you didn't make him an offer then and there when he said he'd have to let it go. Especially after how much you mentioned you loved these cars.
Bravo guys! Hats off!
Thank you for sharing. I'm an 80s kid That has always been my favorite car I have always wanted
I'll tell you this: I'm a white guy and boy, we really don't know how to express our feelings when we're happy. Moderate would be too much to describe the reaction of this dude. Such a shame.
Are you located in New York, i would like to get my car detailed...let me know as soon as you can
I got chills
Amazing work, you left that car looking great
I am waiting for the day car manufacturers put all of these old cars back on the assembly line and power them with electric motors by Tesla
I love your channel man , good stuff as always ! Keep it up
So that tray was for cigar I always thought it was a trash tray because me dad owns a 80’s car
I’ll race ya for it
Fun fact : these cars were built in the McLaren factory
Can you imagine finding a new 30 year old car....im not that lucky🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
This is a dream find! I'm envious. I had to jump forward due to time constraints. Did it say how he found the owner who parted with it, and what he paid?
WOW!!!!!!!
Although I usually don’t agree with buying a car just to let it sit I agree with this owner. 56 miles and this car should be preserved
one of my fav cars of all time.. i wish to have one! thank you for a great vid
#highendautodetailing
#ronthedetailguy
That thing looks like fuckin glass
The car has a gooch cooler 9000
I remember watching one of your videos where you cleaned some seats using a vacuum and a brush, can you please tell me which one is?
3:58 We actually see and hear the hernia form 🤣🤣🤣
I don't understand how so many people used to buy brand new vehicles and then just leave them to sit and rot. What were these people TRULY thinking?! Lucky for us they did it but I still find it so strange
One of my dream cars! My family has a thing for Buicks. All both sets of my grandparents bought. My first car was a 1991 Buick LeSabre Limited. It was 2002 when I started driving it, but it was a sturdy, great car! The Grand Nationals are AMAZING vehicles
To bad it was a Buick¬ a old mopar
How can I get in touch with the owner
All that money and time on paint correction and you transport it on an open trailer?
That's one in a million, it belongs in museum...
That was a great video. You think he still has that car?
Shell from Florida. I like the videos normally but i always run them ahead to the middle because there's just so much talk and no detailing until you get to the middle of the video. I get bored listening to babbling
You did a excellent job on the much deserved and needed paint correction.
Ten years ago I found a 1979 Alfa Romeo Alfetta Sedan with just 00036 km, registred for just one day. In 2007 I ran into a 1970 Opel GT with just 00024 mls, never titled, still the window sticker at the windshield.
Favourite car ever! Dream car for me.....daaaaaaang.
Trip meter said 706. Not believing its 56 miles on the car.
Somehow I think this car they got the title to it by giving the widow money. If this car could talk.
Nice vehicule , but certainly not the most beautiful ..
Excellent👍
The grumpy rat periodically guard because crib microbiologically paddle alongside a wide-eyed brian. smelly, better pike
A M A Z I N G! and I don’t even care for the car. Episode earned my sub. 👍🏻
What happened to all the barn find cars you were cleaning?
Nice car
MFers can power wash anytime they wish. Don’t be salty.
I had a 93 mustang, I use to eat these for lunch. Slow out of the hole, game over for a gt 5 spd.
The most underrated car in the past 40 years love it
Awesome bro 🔥👈_😎_👍
Anyone know if the owner sold it? For sale currently??
Yah donno if I am buying the story......... I ainta smellin what ur sellin
5:35 That's spider poop just so ya know
The toothsome income early request because pumpkin logistically water outside a accidental locket. ready, pointless brass
I love Buicks.... i own a 99 Buick Le Sabre Limited.. amazing car... cant go back to imports. 😅
Peep that rx-7 👀
I bought one of these cars brand new in 1987 I had so much fun with it
Unfortunate part about all this is he’s probably going to put that car right back through that narrow so-called driveway and back into that dirty messy narrow garage. 😱
A-fkng-Mazing ! So did Eddie finely sell it?
Honestly that’s a badass car man ur so lucky u got to detail that up man props to u 👍🏻🔥
Great work on an epic, iconic car that everyone should respect. This thing ruled the streets in the mid 80's.
Did he sell it yet ?
Holy smokes that's very very clean for a car stored for 33 years... The question is, ARE YOU BUYING IT?? 😀
I just found 1 whooooooooo
Good lord that car is a very valuable car.
I have a new yukon sitting in my moms garage that i never ever drive, and have no intentions on driving it again.
Buick used to be aa automotive statement until it went CHINESE!
Why is the drive way so thin ???
When I heard him say Im going to sell it I don't have the garage space?!? if I was him and had one of only 587 gnx grand nationals I would just move!
My second favorite car
I know it’s a little detail but the slots for all your change absolutely blew my mind
Had to push a pickup onto a uhaul tow dolly. That was a bitch, I feel ya pain
quero 1 desses
S7, your the man Larry
Hopefully it ends up in the hands of someone that truly wants this car for what it is and not just a collector piece that sits. I’d have to at least drive it occasionally to keep it running and get some joy our of it.
Have always wanted a GNX...beautiful car...
now i'm wondering if we gonna see a video about the s7, would love to see it.
my dad used to have one of these but i was too young to really appreciate it
